Logo design for a carbon-free taxi start-up.

In a society where there’s a great focus on environmental corporate responsibility, it was only a matter of time before a carbon neutral taxi company was launched.

Managing Director of Worthing Green Taxis, Campbell got in touch to ask if I could help him develop a logo and tagline for his start-up business that would help engage multiple demographics to make a more considered decision when requiring the need for a taxi.

Occasionally, an idea just lands so hard during the discovery meeting, you have to explore it and this was one of those projects. I knew what the logo looked like before I’d even put pen to paper.

Logo wise, I was confident that once I’d sketched out and pitched my idea, I would be given the green light as it encapsulated everything that was asked in the brief. Clean, creative and relevant.

The tagline took a little bit more time to get right. I knew I wanted it to be a play on words and thought I’d nailed it but it just wasn’t quite rolling off the tongue like I’d hoped. I spoke to Campbell and together, we managed to streamline my original idea and had something we were both happy with.

Once I’d finalised the logo design and introduced the tagline into design, there were a couple of tweaks but all was approved and signed off.
